After swimming fast and hard yesterday, I was sore and slower today. Why couldn’t I be fast and faster? LOL As it’s Tuesday, it’s mean to be a more fun workout. Whether you consider eggbeater kicking and backward sit scull (it hurts after a while) fun or not, it mixes things up. Somewhere in my many workouts I’ve explained what both of these are.
However, the excitement for the day wasn’t the swim workout. I know, shocking! Rather I walked home commando under my swim jacket. Yes, there’s a story behind it. No, it’s not that exciting. Apparently, after sharing my story on a Facebook swim group, I discovered that I am not alone. Others do this all of the time. Not that I wasn’t aware just how immodest swimmers are (I am one, after all, and modesty is not something I’ve ever claimed) and I’ve seen them deck change–okay I’ve decked changed. It’s just that I never really thought this was a thing. Some of my friends actually go commando in their jackets to Starbuck’s . . . frequently. Hahaha!
Swimmers . . . we are a different breed, and I love it.
