Honestly, I had very little motivation today. When I woke up this morning, I wanted to roll over and go back to sleep . . . for the rest of the day. I didn’t. The workout was paid for, even if it was cheap, and it’s hard for me stay home when I know I can go. I just don’t want to go.

It shows a bit in the workout. What did I want to do? Nothing. I wanted to float in the pool, but that would be a waste of 55 minutes of pool time. LOL Yes, I’m that anal. LOL Instead, this is what you get.

That warm up set with the bouncing in the “shallow” end was not easy. It ate up a lot of time. The “shallow” end is 7-8′ deep. Getting my feet on the bottom firmly enough to propel myself up to the surface was challenging. It was different and somewhat fun. Okay, let’s just say that once I committed to it, I was going to do it. Damn it! LOL

Except for Set 3 of the main set, none of these intervals were hard. I wasn’t feeling like doing anything hard, so I didn’t. I still had a decent workout with a decent amount of yards.

I must say I think the bouncing set could have been a lot of fun if you had a second person next to you and you “raced” them across the pool.

Anyway, sometimes, you just have to do something different/try something new.
