Tuesdays are my “fun” days. Well, really, every day I’m swimming is a fun day, but Tuesdays I do something a little different. The eggbeater was a little challenging because I was in the shallow end. Hands are out of the water, although just. Despite the longer intervals, I managed a decent amount of yards, and I had fun. 😊

50-minute swim workout, Tuesday “fun” day
500 warmup (~7:20 min)
Warmup set 4x (600 yds, 14 min)
100 IM on 1:50—breaststroke kick with fly and back, dolphin kick with breast and free
2 x 25 on :50 — 12.5 yds eggbeater kick hands up/12.5 yds head up sculling
100 easy on 1:40
Main set 2x (1200 yds, 19:20 min)
2 x 150 on 2:25
1st 25 fly/25 back/100 free
2nd 25 back/25 breast/100 free
2 x 100 on 1:50
Run forward 12.5 yds/37.5 hard free/12.5 yds run backwards/37.5 yds hard backstroke
2 x 50 on :50
No breath off the wall for 5 strokes
Bonus set (200 yds, 4 min)
8 x 25 on :30
First 4, set a time to beat
Second 4, descend
200 warm down
Total yards: 2800
