A somewhat lazy Sunday workout. They let us in three minutes late to the pool. Kind of par for the course with the Plunge, but, at least, I was able to swim. We had three in our lane. The person leading wore fins. I think she would’ve gotten a better workout if she’d gone without. Truly, she needed to be in a faster lane or no fins. Honestly, when you can swim and aren’t using them for a training set, I don’t understand why people wear them for an entire workout. To me, that’s like riding an electronic bike for exercise. (I’m not opinionated at all. LOL) As is typical with Clay workouts now, the first set or two is pretty well-defined and then it becomes a little loose-y goose-y. (Shrug) I’m in the pool. It’s a good day. He also recorded my stroke with some verbal tips on improving it. That’s something I appreciate about him. He’s always looking for ways to help us improve our strokes.
At the end, I did race the leader, but she took her fins off for it. She was slightly ahead of me most of the 25, but started fading at the end. We tied. 😀
