There’s a new guy who works at the pool. While nice, he’s chatty and often starts the spiel they give before every hour and the next group that enters when the clock is chiming the hour. This means we get in late because we aren’t walking in until after the hour. So, today, I was a couple minutes late getting in the pool. It’s somewhat annoying. Hopefully, this will change come the 15th. We shall see. In an attempt to have my lane to myself, I swam 50 of the warmup butterfly. It didn’t work. (shrug) It was a good workout. I wonder if I swim slower in the shallow end or if I just swim slower alone with no one there for me to catch/beat. Not that it matters. 😁 It was another day in the pool. That’s what is most important.
