I had big plans for today, but, well, they didn’t happen, mainly because halfway through the first 400, my body made it known that I had to go the bathroom. I pushed through it because we’re limited to 50 minutes and I didn’t want to waste any of it. At the end of the first round of the main set, I rested for a minute to see if I could get it to pass. Honestly, I was thinking I’d have to get out, but the rest helped for another 600-700 yards. The plan to warm down with a 200 was thrown out the window as I jumped out and rushed to the bathroom. (sigh) It’s been years since I’ve had to do that.

We also didn’t get in the pool nearly 2:30 minutes late. But I swam. So, here was my mid-distance 50-minute swim workout. Okay, not quite 50-minutes.
