If you saw my last swim workout post, you’ll have seen I broke my toe during that workout. I decided to take a day off to “baby” that toe and came back today. Usually, Thursdays are stroke technique focus, but, since I missed my mid-distance swim workout yesterday, I decided to go ahead and do it today. All things considered, I was pleased with the swim. It was rather zen if a less than creative workout. Sometimes, we just need to get in the pool and hit go. On the way up, I averaged a 1:29/100. On the way down, a 1:25. Could I have pushed it harder? Probably, but my purpose today was to just get in and swim. Mission accomplished.
