I’m running late on posting the past couple of 50-minute swim workouts. Sometimes, life gets in the way. This particular workout I decided to do some fun stuff and then push myself a little in the main set. It was harder than I would have liked, but we all have those days (or weeks, at it seems lately.)
As ever, adjust the intervals as well as the sets as need for you.
50-minute swim workout, are we having fun yet?
500 warmup (~7:20 min)
Warmup set (500 yds, 10-11? min)
500 fun drills
Main set 4x (1400 yds, 22 min)
100 on 1:35/1:30/1:25
Easy 50 on 1:00
Bonus set (100 yds, 2 min)
4 x 25 hard on :30
100 sprint—whatever you’ve got.
200 warm down
Total yards: 2700
