Round RobinThis month’s Round Robin topic is: What is your favorite time and place to read? How about writing time? Do you have to make time?

Do you have a ritual or is your plan helter-skelter? What’s your method?

A favorite time and place to read? Whoever heard of such a thing? πŸ˜‰ I will read any time and anywhere. (Well, except perhaps a rollercoaster or while I’m swimming. Water and books don’t mix well. Nor does puke and books.) I have been known to stay up all night if the book is good enough and even walk and read at the same time. I guess it’s a result of loving read. (grin)

As for writing time, I do it whenever I can. Most often, it’s late at night while lying in bed… if I’m lucky. At that point, there is very little else I can do except sleep. So, I can justify working on my own manuscript. Sad, I know. There have been many days I haven’t had the opportunity to write. So, you could easily say my plan is helter-skelter, sort of like my writing process.

I am on the verge of finishing up a manuscript that has been in the making since 2007. Yup, nearly 8 years, but, honestly, I stopped working on it for a number of years. I’d written myself into a corner, or so I thought. Since November, I’ve added over 30,000 words with my new regimen. The end is nigh… if I can just finagle a few more writing sessions out of my life.

And you? Where do you read and/or write?
