El Segundo is open after being closed for Junior Olympic Water Polo. While I like swimming at my local pool, El Segundo gives us 60 minutes and it’s earlier in the day by an hour. Weekends are family time, so earlier doesn’t interfere as much with that. I was a little slow this morning. Perhaps because I skipped breakfast before going? We’ll go with that. (LOL) I wanted to swim like Ledecky, Weitzel, Dressel, and Finke, to name a few—they are so amazing. Alas, I’m a bit more mature than they are (grin), significantly shorter, and, let’s face it, not as fast. The only common denominator I have with the Olympic swimmers is that I love swimming, too, and that, my friends, is the most important one. 🙂

As those who stop by here frequently know, I don’t really kick. So, all kick for me is backstroke. I attempted to mimic the underwater dolphin kick of Dressel. That’s going to take some work. Okay, a lot of work. I might have looked more like a dying inchworm, though. LOL

You’ll see a lot of ? for length of time it took to do the sets because, without the intervals, it’s hard to keep track.

Anyway, adjust, adjust, adjust, and swim.
