Ah . . . The day of the month I struggle with the most. My breaststroke is so slow it’s on par with my kicking, but I do it anyway. It’s a challenge. Can I beat my last time? Will I get any better? So far, the answer has been no. Maybe next month. There’s always next month.

500 warmup (~7:25 min)

Warmup set 2x (700 yds, 13:40 min)
4 x 50 on 1:00
First 3 are 25 breast drill/25 breast
4th—hard breast
2 x 75 IM on 1:25
rotate through strokes. #1 is fly/back/breast, #2 back/breast/free, etc.

Main set (1200 yds, 20:20 min)
Set 1 — 4x (800 yds, 13:20 min)
75 on 1:10
2 x 25 breast on :30
75 on 1:10

Set 2 (400 yds, 7 min)
4 x 100 IM on 1:45

Bonus set (100 yds, 2 min)
4 x 25 breast on :30

200 warm down
